A Registered Nurse with 12 years in emergency medicine
I'm a Registered Nurse (RN) with 12 years of experience in emergency medicine. I work in a 600-bed Level 1 trauma center where I see everything—car accidents, heart attacks, strokes, traumas, and medical emergencies.
During my nursing career, I've spent approximately 43,000+ hours on my feet—that's roughly 5-7 miles of walking per 12-hour shift on concrete and linoleum floors in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Over those 12 years, I've dealt with foot pain, plantar fasciitis, exhaustion, and everything that comes with standing for 12+ hours. I've tested dozens of shoes and learned what actually works in real emergency medicine.
Most nursing shoe reviews online are written by people who've never worked in healthcare. They don't understand what it's really like:
I created this site to provide REAL reviews from someone who actually understands nursing.
Every shoe on this site has been tested through real 12-hour ER shifts. I've worn them. I've felt them. I know what they're actually like.
If a shoe isn't good, I say so—even if I could earn more commission by recommending it. Quality and honesty come first.
This site uses Amazon affiliate links. When you click "Check Price on Amazon" and make a purchase, I earn a small commission—typically 4-6%. You pay the exact same price. The commission costs you nothing.
IMPORTANT: I ONLY recommend shoes I've personally tested and genuinely believe in. Commission doesn't influence my recommendations. Quality and honesty come first.
I'd rather have you in the right shoe earning me $0 than in the wrong shoe earning me $10. That's my philosophy.
